"You don't become a professional simply by earning certificates, adding ratings, or getting a paycheck for flying. Rather, professionalism is a mindset. It comes from having the attitude, the ethics, and the discipline to do the right thing — every time, all the time, regardless of who's watching."

The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."

Man, the air was terrible today at Willie, but the scenery still looked pretty damn cool!

(if you look closely, you'll see there was even some vortices generated by the props)

Thanks Joe.  Was almost a non-shot.  Apparently, there is an unposted 'no-photography' rule for the long term parking out there.  Matt and I procrastinated after the parking guy informed us of this policy, but he was cool enough to call in and get permission for us to grab shots of the Guppy's departure.

Love that first shot, Dave!

+1 for me Sir Dave. I like the portrait orientation and how you included the runway in the bottom of the image. The entire composition really adds scale to the image.

Thanks Jeff.  Even though it's December, the early shots, when he was still close to the runway, have quite a bit if heat haze.  Also wished he would have kept on the runway a bit longer, but still pleased with what I ended up getting.  Maybe in March, when he'll be loaded a little heavier while carrying the Orion, he'll have a longer takeoff roll?

Went out to shoot the V-22 Osprey's on the ramp and was rewarded in seeing the departure of the Antonov 124, from runway 12R no less. Nice and close.....  ;D
