The Legend of the Guardian of the Line
The Greek God "Linus" comes from the Greek name Λινος (Linos) meaning "leg."
In Greek legend he was the son of the God Apollo who was accidentally killed when he stepped over the white line.

HIGH-WIRE ACT

Shot while looking almost straight up while standing under some power lines as the pilot was at the apex of a hammerhead lining up for his next spray run.  Serious airmanship.

Great shot Joe, I've always wanted to catch one of these guys in action. They do a lot of spraying here around Luke after dark. Great catch!

Along the same lines.  Credit can go to Joe for suggesting risking our lives as this guy did hammerhead turns 75 feet over our heads and power lines.  The things we do for a photo.

Fantastic shots Joe and Scott...  I would say the results were well worth the risk.   Smiley

Thanks Anna, inpires me to spend more time inhaling insecticide. Actually there was very little of that in this case due to favorable winds.
