John T Freckman's CJ-6 N621JM

John Freckman is Ret. USCG and Sikorsky logs all rescues in their helicopters.  So he called them and they had all 5 of his.  Some off the coast of LAX.  They also sent him the logo for the rescue, sort of like a kill marking, it's a "rescue" mark.  The above shows the dates of the rescue.

Coolidge or Copperstate?

Either way, superior photographic image!

Thanks!

Falcon Field on Saturday, waiting for the B-17 and B-25 to return from that air-to-air video shoot with the helicopter.

Pretty sure you were in the area, as you posted a shot of MitS taxiing back that had to have been taken no more than twenty minutes after I shot this: http://azaerophoto.com/forum/index.php?topic=3.msg14240#msg14240.  Nanchang landed at 3:42, B-25 at 3:57.

Hmmm,

We must have just walked into the CAF hangar from the parking lot at that point.
